Centrally located this stone building (The Grange) once housed machinery and animals, now completely refurbished, outfitted and remade into comfortable living quarters. It invites family and friends to come together to relax and enjoy in an environment that inspires the spirit of the event. The vaulted gallery space lends itself to celebrations and retreats. Lots of room for all to be together as well spread out for some quiet time.
This house has three levels, the main floor level comprises of a well equipped kitchen, a small toilet room, a large gallery/dining room space leading into two twin size bedrooms with wardrobes, each having their own ensuite bathrooms.
The second floor has a bedroom with a queen bed, desk, comfortable reading chair and there is a second bedroom with twin beds each of these rooms having wardrobe space. These bedrooms share the main large bathroom which has a lovely claw foot tub. There is a salon with ample comfortable seating with TV and a games table for backgammon, cards and jigsaw puzzles. A balcony sitting room for music and or reading looking onto a sheltered terrace. There is a library of books for you to enjoy, children’s as well, and a variety of tourist guide books and maps.
The third floor has a sturdy pull out for that extra bed should you need one, there is also a small bedroom with a single bed, it has its own petit ensuite bathroom. This level offers also a tiled terrace that overlooks the fields and some of the town of Vers Pont du Gard.
The local market and shops are a 3 minute walk from the Grange and offer up all the necessary food shopping, for additional items the super stores are 10 mins away. The Local wine co-op offers up a good selection of wines as well there is a family owned and operated vinery, Domaine De Valseniere, out the door and 3 mins up the street. Chateauneuf du Pape Winey is approx 30 mins away, we are in great Cote du Rhone wine country.
